Annual Retreat- 6 to 8 March, 2009
February 16, 2009The Anglican Churches of the Riviera organize a Retreat during Lent at the Sanctuary of Notre Dame de Laghet.
The Leader of the Retreat this year is Father David Richardson. Father David is the Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome, and was formerly Dean of the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, Melbourne, Australia. The title for Father David’s talks will be “A Room called Remember”.
We would plan to begin at about 17h30 on the Friday, 6 March and go until after lunch on the Sunday, 8 March. The total cost is about €78 per person – accommodation, meals, linen. Those not sleeping at Laghet will pay for whatever meals are had (lunch €14.50, dinner €12) payment is made directly to the Sisters by each person. Those staying overnight are asked to bring soap and an extra towel.
Please give it serious thought and encourage others to do so. It is a wonderful opportunity for prayer, silence and thought; it is a gift that we should treasure.
The completed forms should be returned to: ANNUAL RETREAT, Presbytère Anglican, 11 rue de la Buffa, 06000 Nice by Friday February 27th.
